The KICK Group has set another milestone in the still young company group history in Pristina in the Republic of Kosovo. Not only that the group of companies now runs its own design office in the capital of the Central Balkan state to support the engineering departments. This promising new establishment is embedded in a whole series of measures jointly supported and pushed by the KICK Group and the investors of KD Business Development as well as the local and state authorities and bodies.

The positive spirit and the mood of departure were literally tangible at the festive kick-off event in Pristina. Prime Minister Albin Kurti, Ministers Rozeta Hajdari (Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade) and Arbërie Nagavci (Education, Science, Technology and Innovation) as well as representatives of the German Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau and the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit and the many other guests expressed in their own ways their enthusiasm and anticipation for upcoming projects and developments.

One of the main goals of the German-Kosovar cooperation, which is designed on political and economic levels, is the creation of a modern business park for mechanical and plant engineering in the greater Pristina area. According to German and European standards, promising industrial jobs are to be created here for the development and welfare of Kosovo.

Rozeta Hajdari, Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship and Trade, was also full of anticipation. "You have organized this event to send a good signal to our people that the Republic of Kosovo can move forward with good governing principles, good trust and a lot of work in joint efforts," said the Minister. The project of an industrial park for mechanical engineering and metal construction is very promising for a better future for the citizens, she added. "Thank you for choosing Kosovo as an investment location."

Before the festive evening event, Holger Krebs and his two sons Lukas and Mirko had visited the new design office. Together with the office manager Betim Shabani, they welcomed the new colleagues of "KICK Engineering & Manufacturing Kosovo Sh.p.k" into the KICK Group.

"For our group of companies, this step into Kosovo is of course big and takes us to completely new shores," KICK manager Holger Krebs admitted bluntly. "But we have great partners, have an excellent team on the ground, and see good opportunities for exciting and great development."
